DAY 1- Arrival in Paro
Your experience begins the moment your flight lands at Paro International Airport, the only international airport in Bhutan. Once you clear customs and immigration, our guide will welcome you and take you for refreshments in town, followed by some sightseeing. Day 2- Discover Thimphu
– After breakfast, drive to Thimphu
-Spend the day discovering the capital city and visiting the iconic Buddha Dordenma.
– Visit the Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal
– Visit Simtokha Dzong, built in 1629 by Zhabdrung and one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan, then the vegetable market
-Overnight at Hotel Tara Pendelling, Thimphu
Day 3- Thimphu → Punakha
– Depart early for Dochula Pass, known for its 108 chortens and panoramic Himalayan views.
Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong.
– Overnight at Punatsangchu Cottages or Hotel Lobesa, Punakha
Day 4- Punakha Exploration
-Explore Punakha
-Walk across one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan
– Hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten
– White-water rafting
– Another night at Punatsangchu Cottages or Hotel Lobesa
Day 5- Punakha → Paro
-Drive back to Paro, with lunch in Thimphu on the way.

– Cooking class at The Happiness Farm
-Overnight at The Happiness Farm
Day 6- Excursion to Tiger’s Nest
-Early breakfast at The Happiness Farm
-Drive to the Tiger’s Nest trailhead
– Spend the morning hiking up the forested path to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest
– The round-trip hike takes about 4–5 hours and includes lunch
– A shorter hike, or a horse ride to the halfway café, is also an option
– Taktsang Monastery clings to sheer cliffs about 900 metres (3,000 feet) above the Paro valley and has been an important place of pilgrimage and refuge for more than 1,200 years
– This sacred place is linked to Guru Rinpoche, who is said to have flown there on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave behind the present-day monastery
-Optional shopping in Paro
– Dinner and overnight at The Happiness Farm
Day 7- Departure
